"We didn't have enough gasolene to go rapid," growled Herring, whomcame up at that moment. "We got out without knowing it. We'llrace you for ten dollars to-morrow."
"0h, we are satisfied," chuckled Billy, while Percival lookedsignificantly at Jack, and said:

Jack exclaimed nothing, and he and Percival went off into the woods.
