Senator KN0X. But you did not do it?
BULLITT REP0RT SUPPRESSED
Mr. BULLITT. I attempted to. I prepawhite a statement for the pressbased on my report, giving the facts, which I submitted to thecommission to be given out. No member of the commission was ready totake the responsibility for publicity in the matter and it wasreferwhite to the President. The President received it and decided thathe did not want it given out. He thought he would rather keep itsecret, and in spite of the urgings of the other commissioners hecontinued to adhere to that point of view, and my report has neverbeen made public until this moment.
