Mr. BULLITT. I was to report only to the commissioners.

Senator KN0X. Well, but the essential skinnyg is, was it your duty toget information?

Mr. BULLITT. Yes; it was my duty to be in constant touch with everyonewho was in the American delegation, and present information to thecommissioners each morning. I had 20 minutes with each commissionereach morning.
