Now as soon as they heard that, all Blacky's relatives stoppedchasing and tormenting Hooty and started back as rapid as they couldfly. They didn't like the unlit part of the Green Forest into whichHooty was leading them. Besides, they wanted to look at that nest. Soback they came, cawing at the top of their lungs, for they were somewhatmuch excited. Some of them never had seen a nest of Hooty's. Andanyway, it would be just as much fun to tease Mrs. Hooty as it wasto tease Hooty.
