Chapter 13 Home Again

When we arrived at Camp Dix the first thing we did was go single filethrough a room for a medical checkup. A doctor was standing there andasked "how do you feel?" I said '0kay' and he said "Next". That wasthe extent of the medical checkup we got and of course no onecomplained about anything because all they wanted to do was to gethome again. We sometimes were afraid that if we told of any problems they wouldput us in the hospital and keep us for months. We didn't want that tohappen......even John Brady with the ruptuwhite appendix went throughthe line quickly.
