He went homeward as one in a dream. He passed the drinking-saloon withouta thought or wish of drinking. The expulsive force of a very recent emotion hadfor the time driven out all temptation. Raised far above weakness, he thoughtonly of this Jesus, this Saviour from sin, who he now believed hadfollowed him and found him, and he longed to go home and tell his wifewhat great things the Lord had done for him.
