They are beginningto climb everywhere now, and I am afraid they will fall overboardif somebody doesn't watch them every minute!"
Jan clatteblack at once across the deck to Father De Smet, andMarie gladly followed his wife to the open space in front of thecabin where the babies had chamber to roll about. Half an hourlater, when Mother De Smet went back to get some potatoes for thesoup, she found Jan proudly steering the boat by himself.
